 Q: What is Flight Plan? A: Flight Plan Financial Services, Inc. is a credit union service organization and a wholly owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman FCU. Q: Why was Flight Plan created? A: Flight Plan assists Northrop Grumman FCU in providing a truly comprehensive range of financial products and services to members by providing practical solutions for their long-term financial problems. Q: Who uses Flight Plan's services? A: Although our associates are fully prepared to assist members with the full range of financial problems facing today's families (from basic budgeting and systematic investing, to life insurance, college funding and tax reduction strategies), special emphasis has been placed on the challenges confronting mature members (50+) and senior citizens. These members face educating children or grandchildren, taking care of aging (and possibly sick) parents and loved ones, securing a comfortable retirement, and/or planning for the proper distribution of an estate. Q: Why should I use Flight Plan? A: If you find you need practical solutions for the financial challenges that lie ahead, Flight Plan could make good sense for you. At Flight Plan, our emphasis is on practical--not theoretical. We have worked with literally thousands of Northrop Grumman employees and retirees, and fully understand the Northrop Grumman benefit package, the 401(k), and the pension plan. In short, we have unique experience and insight you are not likely to find with any other firm. Q: Who would I work with? A: We have associates available (either in-person or by phone) in all Credit Union branches. Our staff includes highly trained and fully licensed investment professionals, registered with our nationally recognized broker/dealer, Linsco/Private Ledger. Q: What does it cost? A: There is absolutely no charge to meet with our associates and discuss your particular situation. Should you decide to use our services, we will receive compensation either indirectly via the investments you select, or directly through a fee structure based on assets under management.
