These plans are designed for Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union members and Northrop Grumman retirees.

Choosing a Plan - Special Considerations
Be sure to consider the following when choosing between the CIGNA Dental PPO and the CIGNA Dental HMO:

• You must enroll for the full plan year.
• The normal plan year is from July 1 through June 30.
• You must enroll during the annual open enrollment period in May - June or wait until next year.
• Newly eligible Northrop Grumman retirees may enroll at the beginning of the next calendar quarter following retirement.
• You will automatically receive an annual renewal notice.
• Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union membership is not required to enroll.
• Your spouse and dependent children up to age 19 (age 23 if a full-time student) are eligible for coverage if you enroll.
• Find a dentist or check to see if your dentist is a PPO or HMO provider at www.cigna.com.

• Visit one of the 53,000 dentists in the Cigna Dental PPO network for maximum savings. Coverage is also available thru any dentist on an out-of-network basis.
• There is an annual deductible and plan year maximum.
• No referral required to see a specialist.
• Fast, accurate, and convenient claims processing. Claims are filed by your PPO dentist or by you.

• The CIGNA Dental HMO plan is a managed dental care plan.
• There is no deductible.
• No charge for most diagnostic and preventative services.
• For other services, you pay a fixed patient charge, which you know in advance from the Patient Charge Schedule included in your member kit.
• There are no claim forms to complete.
• You must select a CIGNA HMO network dentist. According to CIGNA, your current dentist may already be a CIGNA network dentist.
• If you move or need emergency dental care while away from home, your CIGNA customer service center will help you find a CIGNA network dentist.
• Procedures performed by a non-network dentist and/or procedure not listed on the Patient Charge Schedule are not covered and members pay the dentist's usual fees for those procedures.
